Emptiness

Blood Moon

According to folklore, October's full moon is called the "Hunter's Moon" or the "Blood Moon."

The name Blood Moon comes from the act of slaughtering animals for winter food, and from the reddish cast often seen shadowing the Moon on cool October nights.

In Celtic traditions this is the Ivy Moon, and one of its correspondences is binding magic.

The Chartreux Cat

One of these will probably become a member in our home soon...

The Chartreux is a natural French breed of great antiquity. It is known for its gray-blue color, wooly double coat, powerful build, and mild temperament. Although it is a massive cat, it has a sweet, smiling expression and a tiny voice. It is always gray-blue in color, with gold to copper eyes.

They are tolerant and gentle with strangers, small children, and other animals. They tend to withdraw from conflict rather than becoming fearful or aggressive. They accommodate themselves to most situations without complaint, travel well, and do not mind being left alone for long periods.

They are natural hunters, more interested in chasing and "killing" a toy than in romping around or wrestling in play. Even in play they are efficient, watching until the perfect moment and then letting loose with a fast and accurate pounce. They play in short spurts, sleeping and relaxing the rest of the time. They are creatures of habit and enjoy the same games and rituals day after day.

Towards those they love, Chartreux display a passionate devotion that strangers would never guess at. They prefer to be nearby, preferably getting their jowls scratched and giving loving head-bumps to their owners! They will follow you everywhere, comfort you when you are sad or ill, and prefer to sleep with you or on top of you.

Yet this devotion is never obtrusive. They do not demand attention, and are content to sit quietly when you are busy. They have a strong sense of proper behavior and strive to be "good citizens." They likewise appreciate courtesy from others, and remember how they have been treated.

Sometimes I feel angry and don't even know why.

No one knows me truly, not one single person. Most of the times they don't even make an effort but then I realise I don't let them come near me anyway. I don't want anyone inside my mind, that's my secret place, my own world.

The world is full of hypocrisy and people who don't like you but will smile at you and pretend they're your best friends.
I hate lies. I hate fake feelings. But mostly I hate fake people.

Sometimes I feel I cannot trust anyone.
Sometimes I feel I cannot be understood.

Anger is just an emotional hurt...

Luis Royo's Dark Labyrinth

Two days ago, for my birthday, my boyfriend offered me an amazing book from Luis Royo called Dark Labyrinth. This art book guides you through the inner dark world of Luis Royo. It's 64 pages of Royo's stunning art!

I admire his work for so long and it is a true spectacle, really exciting to look at.

Here's a brief description of Dark Labyrinth (2007):
"An artist admirer of a master is fascinated by his increasingly dark visions and seeks to meet him. The trip becomes a voyage into the depth of dreams and nightmares."
