The Moon

The moon is Earth’s only natural satellite. The moon is a cold, dry orb whose surface is studded with craters and strewn with rocks and dust. The moon has no atmosphere. Recent lunar missions indicate that there might be some frozen ice at the poles. The same side of the moon always faces the Earth.

If you were standing on the moon, the sky would always appear dark, even during the daytime. Also, from any spot on the moon (except on the far side of the moon where you cannot see the Earth), the Earth would always be in the same place in the sky; the phase of the Earth changes and the Earth rotates, displaying various continents.

I bought the first and second books of her Favole trilogy and I was amazed with the most beautiful illustrations, very goth-inspired.

Favole is pure gothic romance, a story of immortal passions.

Soulmates

The concept of soulmates arose from Greek mythology. According to the story, our ancestors once had 2 heads, 4 arms. They did something to offend a god, so that god punished them by splitting them down the middle, resulting in the creation of humans. As a punishment, we are condemned to spend our lives searching for the other half, our soulmates.

This is a beautiful way to put it... I believe my punishment ended last year when I found my other half.

I dedicate this post to my soulmate. :)

Early Morning

It's now 6:40 am and I'm awake since 5:00 am. I guess I'm suffering from a disorder called insomnia!!!! I feel exhausted and I desperately need some good sleep.

Soon I must get ready and force myself to go to work ...

I hate waking up early. I hate having to go to bed earlier... just to wake up early.

I was disappointed because it doesn't sound like a pretty fairy name.

I am the moon goddess's messenger.
I live in spiderwebbed wonderlands and insect grottos.
I am only seen in the mist of an early morning.

Luna's weird, crazy, unpredictable and a bit of an outcast. I like to think of myself as talented at everything I love.
